EMAIL MAGICIAN 1.2 COMES WITH A HOLIDAY SPECIAL

December 21, 2001 – YAV Interactive Media is pleased to announce a major update to Email Magician, their popular utility for Eudora® Mac. The new version 1.2 adds a Special Filters palette with many innovative options requested by users. These include powerful filters for HTML email, PC file attachments, and filters that can act upon entire address books. Other new features include a mailbox Table of Contents display, support for two-byte fonts, and many new settings, actions, and revert options.

YAV is offering Email Magician at a special holiday price of $30. This discount will end at midnight on the Monday following Maworld Expo (January 14, 2002) when the price will return to normal -- $35.

Version 1.2 adds much functionality to unregistered copies of the program. Where, previous versions of Email Magician limited unregistered users to writing a single automatically generated filter, mailbox, and nickname per day, the new version lifts most restrictions and allows unregistered users the option to write one filter of each type per day. Email Magician generates 14 types of filters based upon its analysis of your Eudora folder.

Besides automatically creating filters, mailboxes, and address book entries for Eudora, Email Magician automates many tasks related to archiving mailboxes and messages, and optimizing of your Eudora folder. Version 1.2 enhances options for spam filtering, while increasing the number of built-in spam filters to nearly 200. Also enhanced is the program’s intelligent Urgent Filter note-pad, where you jot down phrases and email addresses that tell Email Magician to override existing filters and gather all your "to do" items into a single mailbox for quick disposition.
